Baby Boy

I would hate to find out how many pictures on my phone are of my dog. I just love him! He sleeps in my room every night. Sometimes on my bed. Sometimes not. He always snores. After two and a half years, I hardly notice it, but when I'm on the phone people always comment on his strange noises. Just more reason to love him, I think. When he does sleep on my bed, it's usually in the most inconvenient place. He's so cute, though, that I get over it.

& yes, I call him my baby boy. Not weird at all. He's one of two dogs we've ever had, & the only animal we've had to like me, so I hold on tight to him!

Snow Day

Today we had a snow day. Except, we didn't get out of school for it.

Lame.

It was all melted by the time we got out anyway. Sigh. I love snow. Especially the kind that doesn't include ice! Just snow + the cold. I hope to one day live where snow is a common occurrence...

Fire

I don't know if you can tell, but I love the sky. Sunsets, specifically. This evening I went to Bible study, and when we finished up we looked across the street to see this. Thank you, God.

Noodles + Kid's Meals

A big vacation or present is always nice. My favorite things, though, seem to also be "everyday" things. Today I had two of those things: throwing noodles on the cabinet to see if they're ready & a kid's meal bag from Chick-Fil-A that doubled as a puppet! <3

I love...

I don't know whether it's the utter terror or the thrill, but I love roller coasters. Today I went to Six Flags with a dear friend. Some highlights:
- riding Batman in the front row for the first time. It's a totally different experience!
- riding Mr. Freeze Reverse Blast for the first time. Totally terrifyingly amazing!
- her being an encouragement to me over lunch as we talked about college, etc.

I'm really, really thankful for the people God has placed in my life.

Jar of Hearts

Chick-Fil-A, the library, the sno cone stand, & the MacBook Pro are the places I've spent time today. & I love every single one of them.

Any day with Chick-Fil-A is a day I love.

Pink skies

I love sunsets. Like, a lot.

Tonight's was amazing. Pink clouds are probably one of my favorite things in the world. They're so beautiful.
